Cummins Power Generation
Steve is currently the Director of Cummins Power Generation Military and Government Business where he leads Cummins’ Power Generation Government and Military Program Teams. Steve has been at Cummins for over 40 years where he has held various leadership positions in Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and Program Management. He began his career as an electrical design engineer and one of his first assignments was putting the 5 & 10 kW Military Standard Generator sets into production. While in engineering, he worked on a number of military programs including the TEPP program, PM- MEP’s SSDED and 5 & 10 kW Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG) development programs. He then spent the next twenty years in marketing and product management leadership including leadership of Cummins Prime Power Market Team and Prime Power Gas Gensets. Steve returned to Cummins’ Military business in 2008 as the Program Leader for the AMMPS and BEAR Programs. Steve resides in Minnesota with his wife and family where he continues to lead the Power Generation side of Cummins Military Business.
Steve has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
